Day 4

Day 4, ursprünglich hochgeladen von melanie.melancholy

I think last night Coraline had a bad dream.. Well I wasn't really able to sleep last night. However no sleep is better than having bad dreams I suppose.

Today I was totally confused at work at first. I seriously forgot, that my collegue has 2 days off and that I have to replace her, ao after half an hour into work my other collegue reminded me of that. The rest of the day I spent answering incoming calls from customers. Lame job but it's pretty easy and laid back so it was actually a good thing. After all I only had 4H of sleep.

a new year

Day 1

Day 2

Day 3

I started a 365-days photo project on the Jan 1st and this is what I have taken so far.
Last night I got back home from my vacation at my best friends place, who lives a couple hours away from me. We spent new years eve and some more days together after not having seen one another for 3 years. It actually shouldn't be this hard ti visit one another, but we never really get it done unless it's somehow spontanious. This time i decided to visit her 10 days before I left.
My stay was so much fun and on my way back home I felt as if I was heading into the wrong direction, but my next visit wont take me this long again.

The first picture is of us on new years eve before we had dinner and the second picture is after midnight and after being drunk. I tend to sober out while I am still at the party. There is nothing worse than going home and falling asleep while you are still tipsy or even drunk.

However... I can't wait to go back. I already started to miss her on my way back home.

early awakening

After my second session for my full sleeve tattoo yetserday, I haven't gotten that much sleep. I usually sleep on my side and lay on my left arm. Right now, that is kind of painful, because its partially covered in ink. However, due to this situation I got to experience a very nice sunrise from my window-view. I grabbed my camera and started to take pictures like a japanese tourist in a bavarian cuckoo clock fabric. Even my Sock Skeleton Herbert Hoffmann had to suffer from my spontanious photografy flash. By the way, the tutorial for him can be found here.

With the sun coming out after a couple of days of constant snowing, the icicles infront of my windows started to glow and then to melt away.

I just loved the way the reflected the sun and turned the world upside down in their drops.

I just love the winter with all the snow and christmas. I love the fuzzy feeling I get inside, when I think about sitting on my couch, drinking hot chocolate and reading a nice book, while it's crispy cold outside.
